SA Diesel

They don't like being filled up with BP ultimate diesel ! I found a guy with his hazards going across the road in the bus stop. He had filled it up with diesel at our local BP filling station and managed to ride about 400 metres before it ground to a halt.

He came inside for a cuppa after calling his insurer to get a recovery lorry. He had to walk by my thing new GSA

Hope it doesn't cost him too much to fix.

You have to ask why, how many bikes are diesel powered. I know KTM's sound like diesels but that doesnt mean they actually use diesel.

I filled up my 800gsa with 27 litres of diesel and I sorted it out ok. No need for towing just syphond into the car and filled up with petrol. Would not run so I got a can of easy start and it ran on that till all the disel was purged from system. Ran ok for another 40,000 km and for all I know it's still running. JJH

Normally I would have offered to roll it in to my garage, syphoned out the contaminated fuel, given it some fresh petrol and given it a whirl, but we were just about to start getting ready for our youngest 16th birthday dinner.

I do wonder why the garage didn't stop him, cashier probably doesn't know any better
