Saint Mere d'église ? Recommend me a campsite plz?

OK, So we won't be there the first week, but the second week (10th June onwards)

Its just for one night, maybe two, but Im looking for somewhere near St mere d'eglise...or in that region...for a night or two of camping

Requirements : Walking distance to local village and amenities , i.e Pub/Bar, Pizza or cheap restaurant, nice and friendly atmosphere, hot showers. Simple & Basic. That kind of thing.

Any recommendations out there? Before I book the municipal...

Was there for the 65th celebrations with some mates pedal cycle camping, we managed to camp on the field at the rear of the US AIRBORNE museum for 2 days free of charge, no issues there were loads there , or there is a municipal site which was just throught the hedge which was full, but we were able to use the ablutions.
Cant get much closer for bars eateries etc.
