Saints and Sinners

After a hard half days barrowing concrete about me and Chas set off up north to the Saints and Sinners MCC rally at Luthermuir.

We managed to find the rest of the club in amongst all the tents.

The odd beer or two was consumed.

We even got a red sunset

Then listened to some good rock bands

Then some sleeeeeeepppp...

Next morning dawned bright and warm. On the way to breakfast I noticed that Vstrom riders seem to be a class above us beer swilling riff-raff..

Mmmmmm brekkie

Then we had a wee ride oot over the Cairn 'o Mount- last we were up here in April you could hardly see the front of the bike so this made a nice change.

Into Banchory for coffee then Stonehaven for lunch followed by a wee stop at Dunnotar Castle

Then back to the tent city to check out the bikes

This side car/caravan thing ain't my idea of fun but it floats some folks boat..
It's even got a wee kitchen in the back.

Since I'd been wreaking the garden with a big digger all week I thought I'd have a shot on a wee one

Didn't have a go at the axe throwing - wish I'd had one now though..

Something for Ronnos birthday?

Then time for some more beer and a sampling of the haute cuisine on offer

Followed by more beer, live rock music and some fire dancing

A stagger back to the tent, a good nights unconsciousness, a well packed bike

Followed by a good run home on nice, dry, sunny roads.

Top weekend.

I love the little caravan rig up, saw one in Norway, was quite taken by it....I would have one....

I mind some Saints guys came to a bike weekend at Crail and they a' wore them stupid leather belts and holsters that hawd cans o' beer in them No' a guid look.

You wouldn't have enjoyed it- a whole weekend sitting about in the sunshine drinking,smoking and talkin pish

(it was a last minute deal for me- Chas managed to get me a ticket at the last minute as it was sold out well in advance - next year??)

I havnt got a clue, but he somehow manages, theres an awsome sound that comes off of it.
