Salisbury Plain 2015 ...

The problem with the Plain is that it is all too easy to end up off piste

Buy an OS map and you will be amazed as to how many BOATS there are. However, when you are there you will find 100's of tracks criss crossing all over the place

looks great ,,i live in the area,, had the past 15 years on the plane, witht the army,, i know of a few hidden places lol.. just got the gs and would love to start doing this type of stuff,,

Byways Open to All Traffic 'BOAT's everywhere on the plains but as Nine n Fat says its easy to leave the byways cos there's a zillions of tracks everywhere that you look and that can get you in lots of trouble with mod plod. Most of the byways are also very rideable on a big GSA cos most are graded with very few gnarly ones and very few hills. A good OS map, a good satnav (I set with British national grid for coordinates), someone to ride with (Don't ride offload on your own) and its a great day out. Knobblies help but not necessary for many tracks.

That looks amazing. I've only owned my gsa a few days. I didn't think these bikes were that good off the road
