Saltire Motorcycles

Are saltire likely to return to trade to see if it can viably run??

Anyone looking for a cheap scoot or some garage equipment……….best head to Thainstone’s in Aberdeen. Heard they’re selling all Saltire’s stock with viewing available on Friday. Everything from Royal Enfield Himalayans to flagship Indians. KTMs etc too.
Orange Friday!! 😬

Very sad demise of a good team.

Not got a lot going to auction it seems.

Won't see much in Aberdeen. The lots are still in the Saltire Premises. Viewing there, then an online auction.
Some useful stuff, but also some crap, which may sell for a couple of pounds.
Bike lifts look interesting, but could be well worn.
£500 ring fenced deposit required before bidding....

Yeah, the Pro Bike lifts are the best of kit (I know, cause I have one! lol)
Manufactured in Italy and sold from Northampton. They should work fine, but you can buy all parts from Northampton. My one is 15 years old and never missed a beat. Might need a lick of paint is all.
Best eat your porridge and source 3 very good friends to lift though!! 😂

I’ve just had a look through the items on sale. It must be so harrowing for those involved in Saltire, the complete of a motorcycle business up for grabs including personal desks, settees and office kit.

It kind of brings it home that it ‘s the end of someones livelihood.

Sad

I wonder what happened to the ktm 1290? partial dismantled and no plate? Some nice workshop stuff. Lucky im in declutter mode :)

The images look like a place of work that was just closed up with no staff access thereafter.

I've had a look at some of the stuff from the Auction link. Very sad as you say. However, looking at the state of the garage/workshop equipment (other than the Pro Lifts) I wouldn't like the thought of my pride and joy( if I had one) being serviced or worked on there. Every picture tells a story and all that. 🙄
