Samsung notebook

Hello from a reluctant PC user having a look at Samsung note book but no dvd/cd drive so whats the easiest way to import data from this data storage? Is it an external dvd drive ,transfer to USB memory stick then import,please help

I've got the NC20 and it is a great little machine - hooked up with a dongle and it'll work anywhere, plus battery life of six hours easy -

Just got my NC110, but managed to load up microsoft office via a stick, so hopefully most other things should be OK.

Failing that you can get a USB DVD drive off ebay for about thirty quid.

I've also got the NC110 and have used both a 16GB sandisk USB stick successfully and a cheap Samsung DVD writer I got from Maplins on offer. Both appear to do the job although I'm told the USB sticks aren't compatible with all programs.

Can you charge phones etc with the N110's usb ports as I've read that on some netbooks you can't? TVM.
