Santa Con this Saturday.

If your in central London on Saturday and you see hundreds of Santas you’re not hallucinating.. it’s the annual London Santa Con… always a fun day out, the faces of kids out shopping with their parents are funny to see.



In previous years they used to throw sprouts at people but that’s now banned Here’s a boy collecting them

It is indeed a fun day.

I remember the first time I saw it. It’s a bit Dr Who like, the first time. You get on the tube and see maybe one or two, without giving it a lot of thought. Get off and you might see twenty. Then none for a few streets, then maybe 30, then five…. Walk past University College and you might see 100. And so on. It takes a while for the penny to drop. Kids (and adults) like it, as it’s completely harmless.

Was exactly there yesterday at midday and not one fekkin Santa to be seen. Whole group of ladies dressed as chrimbo trees with boxes wrapped as prezzies for shoes were attracting a lot of attention but no Santas. An expensive Christmas market was though…..

I was there as well yesterday. I saw several Santa's around town, but far more Travellers with their horses and traps, who ground the roads round Shaftsbury Ave to a standstill.
