Sargent Front Seat

Anyone using a Sargent front with the OEM rear?

Do they 'sit' together ok?

How do they look? Any pics?

I used a sargent front with oem rear for a while,they sit together ok but it doesn't look great.
You can get a matching rear cover from sargent that covers the oem seat but matches your sargent front seat,I think there around £35.

I've got a Sargent front and rear.....and even with them there's quite a gap between the two!!

I'm not sure if that's the reason for your question?

Yes. I have to remove the rear if I want to remove the front. Cannot remember if that was the case with the original seat.

the rear sargent seat also has an additional built in storage compartment which the oem seat does not.

Mrs Mike finds the rear OEM OK; I find the front OEM torture.

In order to save a few £'s but still give my arse a treat I thought front Sargent only but wanted to know if it would look like a botch up.

They look awful but hopefully you will be watching the road rather than looking at the back seat of the bike

I don't really care to be honest but I think it looks ok. The other half thinks the back seat is fine so I didn't see the point in spending a fortune on a matching Sargent rear.

I am going through that scenerio at the moment. I have the front sargent seat but my wife finds the rear sargent so uncomfortable that for the first time ever she made me stop yesterday and she is a well travelled lass! The standard rear seat fits perfectly well with the sargent and I find it easier to remove the rear seat before the front whichever combination I use. The 30th anni seat is a design disaster as far as i am concerned, she has only used it for 150 mile and being red it looks grubby as hell but she finds it more comfy I have taken to leaving it at home when I ride solo.
