sargent seat

New sargent seat for my gs on its way.........
i bet my bum will love me for that as the stock seat it realy sucks
any opinions on oem seat replacment???????????????

Just got mine and the option of a rear seat cover saved me a few quid as it just goes over the existing seat so the rear matches. Never carry a pillion anyway!

Here's my GS with its Sargent seats. I believe the trick to getting a good fit with the rear seat cover is get a upholsterer to do it for you. I couldn't be arsed, so just bought the rear as well.

I have the Corbin - wider, firmer and much better on long trips due to the additional bum support.

By the way - naff as this may sound, on longer rides I wear a pair of cycling shorts under my armoured airflows. The additional comfort is remarkable.

is that a standard height seat. Im 5'8'' with a 29 inside leg. I am thinking of getting a Sargeant seat but dont know what height is best. On the low setting on my 2005 gs , i fell like im being shoved forward. With the back low and the front high, it is more comfertable but im on tip toes. I dont want to pay all the money for a Sargeant low seat and feel scrunched up. any ideas.

As a grumpy old 5'9"er with 29" inside leg I have a normal sargent seat on high at the front and low at the back to stop me sliding forward and it's fine!

I used to have the standard seat high at the front and low at the back to stop that pushed forwards feeling but since I got the Sargent seat just have it low low and it's spot on. It's also that bit lower than a standard seat too which is good for the extra confidence boost
