ps delivery to scotland

If is in stock delivery is prompt and you should receive a email confirming the order and time of delivery. If it happens to be out of stock than you should receive a email from Calamander with a estimated time of delivery . From order to delivery it took about 3 weeks for mine to arrive . Good communication from Calamander . If you ordered from NN than I assume the same protocol should apply.

Just bought some Sargent seats front and rear for a GS1200 ordered them on the friday and delivered on the following tuesday morning:)

guys thanks for the quick replies, i ordered it from Sargent, so the replies give me a clearer picture of when it will arrive,it cannot come quick enough, standard seat is a joke

thanks jinky

Just did 1800 miles on mine in a week a few weeks back.

Overall I didn't find it too bad at all actually, although I was a tad envious of my friends Peshwari Nan (Airhawk cruiser) on the longer stints...

Still tempted by a Sergeant seat though.

Hi Mine came from Salamander in 24 hours. It is so much better than the original.

Roger

I ordered mine late on Wednesday night, got an email confirming that it was in stock on the Thursday morning and it arrived on Friday morning! What a fantastic service. Bought it after borrowing Pedro's for a couple of days and the difference in comfort over the stock seat is incredible. Enjoy

Mine took 3 weeks from NN's.
Since then sold it and bought an airhawk.
The airhawk is even more comfortable but obviously doesnt look as good, but when touring, who cares about looks?

Its actually the standard lower seat i have which is worse than a standard seat, did a a couple of days 200miles per day last week, then saturday sat on a friends gsa with sargent seat and could not believe th difference of comfort.

came home that day and ordered, my mind was already made up

I ordered mine midnight(ish) one day early last week (a bottle of red wine first made paying for it easier :augie), got an email from NN start of trading the following morning and TNT delivered direct from Salamander the next day :thumb

Can't believe I took so long committing to buying it....should have bought it first day I had the GS. Aside from the new comfort levels I can also have the Sargent set lower than OEM seat for some reason too? I used to need the original standard height seat on low at the back, high at the front so I didn't feel pushed forwards all the time and to make my legs comfortable whereas the Sargent seat is low front and back plus it's lower than standard anyway yet my legs feel fine even after a few hundred miles..............and I can almost get both feet flat on the floor, result!

Yep really glad I bought the seats there excellent:)

I ordered front/back seat 12th Jan 2009....arrived 14th April. It was the first shipment Calamander Ltd had received since last October. Shortage of parts and then delayed in customs for three weeks:blast. Overall its a nice seat but a bit pricey for what it is.

I did 4500 miles over 22 days in March. The piping around the seat at the top rubbed the inside of my legs raw, it ended up being covered in toilet tissue to pack it out and duck tap, then to round it off a sheepskin cut to size in Marrakesh.

I was with another guy who had an airhawk, and I think that I may have tried one of those first before buying both my sargent seats for £500, that said it is now comfortable will dolly the sheep over it.

I wouldnt touch Sargeant Seats with a barge pole, their customer service stinks.. I rang to ask if they had a front and rear seat in stock for my 1200 GSA, after several attempts and only getting their answerphone I left a message with details of my enquiry and my contact number.
That was last Week and still not had a reply.

Well thanks but no thanks Sargent Seats, I will now keep the best part of a grand in my bank.

Sargent

Probably the best after-market piece of kit I've spent my hard-earned on. :thumb2

Had my seat made by a local vehicle upholsterer.
Took it home three times to test and try on the bike before final covering.
Looks great and very comfortable for both myself and missus.
Total cost £172.
If i ever wanted another seat, this is undoubtably the road i would go down.

I've done 24,000 miles on my Sargent seat in about 2 years (ordered on the basis I don't have a german shaped arse) and it is fantastic. I've done 3500 miles in 1 week plus any number of 500+ mile days.

Still looks almost like new and it's going on my 09 GSA!
