anyone out there know wether the low sarg. seat is as comfy as the standard one?

If you can't reach the ground comfortably with a standard Sargent seat, you'll have little choice surely?
Why might it be uncomfortable? The angle of your legs? The padding? Why not just try one, you can always sell it on.

I just got a regular one, it is very comfortable, but the seating position is different too... I'm sitting further back on it.
No idea about the low seat, but I nearly bought one thinking it would be better to get more foot on the ground, but very glad I didn't now cos it would have felt too cramped.
I'm going to try putting the Sargent up a bit now cos I think it will be more comfortable for the ride.
Re-sale value is very high so you'll probably only lose 10% if you sell it on!

the height isnt a problem i thought that the low seat would give me more options with adjustment as i run the std seat high front low rear it was mainly the padding i was wondering about, if i needed to run the sarg the same.

I have a low Sargent seat, which makes life easier with my short legs. It is very comfortable, previous experience with other low seats is that they just lack padding, the Sargent does not.

Another short arse here too... Low Sargent seat is all day comfortable for me.
All Sargent Seats are comfy IMHO.
If you can get a good S/H one and it doesn't suit, you would get your money back on a resale.
Thing about the low seat is that it reduces the distance between the seat and the pegs which could cause cramp depending on your leg size.

just had 600 mile service
at alan jeffries yesterday sales guy recomended the kahedo over the sargent, at least with sarg. if i dont like it, it will hold its resale. not sure about the touratech as they dont come up to often (owners hold on to them?) many thanks for your input i think it will be the std sarg.

Good. But not as Fantastic as I thought it would be. Would be best to Try before you Buy.
Presumably, if you had long legs, you wouldn't be thinking of a low seat?
