Received the Sargent Seat yesterday from Nippy Normans who did a great job of getting it to me well ahead of the original estimate of early June.
Very expensive £500
so had very high expectations.
First impression were very good, well packed and very high quality so looks like £300ish before putting it on the bike.
I have a 32inch inside leg and was finding the R1200GSA just a tad tall when riding solo with all the preload wound off so I bought the Low version.
Went on the bike no problems and retains the two settings for height. Tried the high first and gave just a little extra from toes to balls of feet and then the low setting that allows almost flat footing with the preload in the standard/mid position.
We both went for a short spin, instant hit with the wife who now sits a little higher than me and gets a better view (worth about £100
) and my legs not too bent and no wind noise.
I have the touratech extension on the modified extra notch screen and 80mph was like the previous 60mph, very good but now I have to look a little bit through the screen so moved the screen down a notch and perfect compromise
Oh and I now sit in the bike rather than on it
So initial impressions are very good, but I think it's over priced by £100ish. We are going on a long trip very soon so will let you know how it and our nether regions hold up
