:)Hi

Just received a new Sargent seat, to replace the horrendously
uncomfortable 1200 GS original.

Received excellent service from importer :thumb2:thumb2
( Calamander Ltd UK & EU Distributors for Sargent Cycle Products )

Kept fully informed re delivery, which was far quicker than anticipated or first advised.

Will have too see

Will have to see when it arrives. Ive just ordered a front and rear to replace my 1200GS one. For the cost im expecting great things but my butt will be the first to complain im sure if its not upto scratch.

cost £460 ouch! :bow for front and rear. Options for colours and heating if required.

I've done over 1k since getting my Sargents. Yes, they're expensive and it is kinda annoying that BMW see fit to supply what is touted as a long distance bike with such crap seats. but the difference is great.

How nice

I think id just sit on the carpet!! :bounce1

I sort of agree with you but i guess for them its a trade of against what they see is durability and cost. Time will tell but a sore butt worries me more!

They do look the boll**ks though. Might get some browney points from the GF too if she likes!! :clap

Seats

Still cheaper than Corbins and I bet they fit better.

i wish

Just recieved a no stock reply to order! :( Guess ill cancel as im not likely to do another long trip over the winter! Why oh why does nobody stock anything in this country any more??? :mcgun

Davy, the seats look nice and comfy!
I did notice in your picture though, that you have a hugger over the back tyre! Is that original BMW or is it aftermarket? I do like the look of it and am after such an item for myself.

cheers,

Stu

Stu, that's a Motorrad Concepts hugger which is now sadly out of production due to the firm collapsing. They did make some nice stuff and someone has taken over production for some of the designs, but not the hugger.

Give Thunder a PM and see if he stilll has a spare one lying around. Otherwise, they do pop up now and again on ebay.

arrived

Just recieved the seats and boy are they good quality. Sean at the suppliers managed to switch and order for me to get them in time. Great service and can recommened them totally. The seat will get a review whan i get back room italy. :clap

report

Well just done 2500mls sitting on it and i have to recommend them. I played with the adjusters and found up front and down rear suited me fine. Now im not saying its perfect but that will never be found but 480mls in a day fast road and 11 hrs the longest day over passes certainly gave it a test. Expensive but good quality and time will tell if its value for money! :thumb2

Agree, Sargent seat on my 1200GSA makes a huge difference and feels even better after 500miles.

Think you may have ordered at the right time. Was on the phone with the distributors yesterday and they told me they will be shortly updating the website to show an increase in prices. :blast
