Just ridden 900 kms in 7 hours breaking the new seat in.
The difference to OE was considerable

At a temple on Thai/Burmese border yesterday!

The Sargent actually allows you to "handle" the bike through the seat, instead of perched on top with OE.
Had a Corbin on my 1150 GSA - too heavy, too pricey and just plain uncomfortable.
Many others aftermarket seats available look more padded for extra comfort,
which may be good for road work I just wonder how they may impede "seat handling".
Try before you buy.

But for me, having just stepped off after a 7 hour run in the heat only stopping for gas & water,
and it's finally, "Good bye, Numb Bum!" on a Sargent.

Yep, they're great alright. I'd bet you feel as if you could quite comfortably do it again tomorrow, that's what I like most about mine.

Your bike is bloody lovely by the way! Who'd of thought it'd look so good in white. Brilliant. Makes me want to change the colour of mine now :)

Yeh -Weve got cops like that in the UK now as well!

Seriously though - I am considering a replacement seat myself so thanks for the comments.
