SAT NAV 5 Trip meters

Ok Guys
I fitted my Nav 5 onto my new GS and for some reason i cannot re set the mileage trip meters on it ! when i put it into the cradle, everything works as normal except the trip meters on the nav5. I have the TFT Screen and the trips rest fine on this but do not register on the Nav 5??

----- any ideas?

Did you do the last software upgrades, with latest Garmin express, also turn the key on and let the bike finish its checks before hitting the starter button. If you don't, it defaults to the odometer.

The trip values showing on my Nav V are the same values as the bike. Resetting a trip on the Nav V resets the corresponding trip on the bike. On the Nav V's Bike info screen (get there using the wonder wheel nudge), the menu button at top left gives access to the trips reset options. As they also reset the bike, I assume this only works when the Nav V is mounted on the bike, with the bike powered on.
