says it all really about how confident BMW Motorrad are about their (dis) Connected ride shit, the fact that they manufacture and sell a separate mounting bar for a satnav for this bike!

It's this ball mount. Take off the BMW badge in the central steering head and screw this in. I then used a short arm to connect to the back of the Satnav. It was very neat.

thanks, appears out of stock, messaged them to see if they have other fitments......Shinyface

I’m late to this party but just changed from a 1250GSA to a 1250RT. I already had ordered the Aoocci Pro 6 device before I decided to change the bike and I’m hoping to be able to mount the display above the RT’s TFT - I’ve seen a bracket which fits there with 3M adhesive. I’m expecting that this will allow me to use CarPlay and MyRouteApp. All of that said, I was hoping that the glitches and frustrations associated with the BMW system had been remedied by now and that it would just do the job.

One further point, QuadLock sell a mount which appears to fit neatly over the brake fluid reservoir - it looks pretty good
