Hi guys,

what sat nav's do you use on your HP2E? Got a TomTom for the car and love it.....

been on fleabay can get Garmin Street pilot for pennies!!!

cheers

I had a 2620 on my GSA 12 but it hated speeds above 80 and would lose mapping, I tried it on the HP2 and it hated all the bumping and jolts and would lose mapping..... can you see a theme developing?
So I got rid.
I presume it was just old fassioned with a hard drive, but im no techno type.

modern solid state would be better me thinks.
I'm going to get corrected by someone who knows now but thats good I'll be educated this way.
I'm tempted to but a cheap tomtom or garmin for about 100 quid and keep it dry rather than spent 500 quid on a bike specific system that you just know you getting ripped off on.
+ I like maps. only need sat nav in the city's of the world.:nenau

I'm still using a Quest 1 with a Touratech lockable mount fitted to the alloy bracket on a Wunderlich ergo screen and it works fine!

Quest 1 for me too. I use the Quest mount permenantly wired into the bike and its just great plus it comes off in seconds and fits into your pocket and as another bonus it has its own battery so you can program it whilst in a cafe having a brew:thumb2

ZUMO 550

very happy with it.
hard-wired into the bike.
Works very well.

I picked up a 2610 when they went for £150 new at GPS warehouse. Hardly ever use it because I know where I get lost :D

The old GPS V is still the best limited all round GPS by far for me :beerjug:

got a cheap zumo of fleabay, just need to find a cheap mount that will attached to the BMW GPS mount on the bike....

I've got a mounting plate some place if that helps... and you have some money.

C.
