satnav and tft screen

On my old 1200 there was no TFT so my phone and helmet connected to the Nav5 and I got all the prompts, speed alerts and so on. Now I have the all bells and whistles TFT and the Nav5. If I connect the phone (iPhone) to the TFT, I was hoping that the sat nav instructions would route through the TFT & Nav5 but it doesn't seem to be the case. Is it possible to connect the phone in a way that it can connect to the TFT and I can hear the instructions from the Nav too my helmet ?

I couldn't think of anything more irritating and ridiculous. To connect the NAV. Listening to that banging on whilst touring....... It causes so much hassle too.
I have Sena 20S Evo and Nav 5, with Galaxy note 9.All works great, But just dont connect the NAv

On the sat nav just set it to do navigation prompts only to headset, clear your phone from satnav,
Connect your phone and your headset to the TFT, if you have buttons to set priority on your headset, pair nav to button that is always in the background and pair the tft to priority button.

I have my phone paired to the Nav 6 and the TFT, TFT and nav both paired to the Sena 20s. All works perfectly. Music and Ph calls via my Note 8 . Nav weather etc via the Nav 6.

If you have a nav continue connecting phone and headset to it. Forget pairing to TFT, it doesn't give any advantage.
