Meet at the East Fortune Air Museum for 10:00ish.

A browse around then lunch somewhere and a run through Duns, Galashiels, Peebles areas.

Good food stop and route suggestions welcome.

Who's in?

Now if it was Sunday.....:augie

Sunday are best for me too :thumb

Skye and I went on the GS to East Fortune last year to meet up with a bunch of folk from Scottish Elises and it was a great day out. Personally it is too recent since I was there to go again. I do fancy a better look around the Air Museum outside Dumfries sometime soon though.

Sorry! I'm hoping to be travelling to sunny Aberdeenshire that day - to meet a fellow GSer.:pullface And definately cannot manage the Sunday!!!

Sorry

Like the choice of venue but I am in Englandshire from Easter weekend until 11 April (or later if my train home is cancelled due to the strikes)

Loads of good roads.
From East Fortune go to East Linton and UNDER A1 on road to Whittingehame/Garvald/Nunraw Abbey/Whiteadder Reservoir/Duns (pics. on here last week).
Heading West from Duns go to Westruther/Lauder/Heriot/back road to Innerleithen and then pick up Peebles road.
I used to live in a cottage overlooking East Fortune (no fences keeping you out in those days) and am now in Duns.
Will try and join up with you.

Oh - and another thing. The Garvald Inn is great for lunch. Open fire if it's cold (probably) and beer garden if it's not (or you're particularly hardy). Garvald is invisible to the human eye until you're about two feet away, but well worth a visit.

Just watch out for all the crap being dragged onto the road by tractors coming out the fields. My garage is just round the corner from the air museum and have many an interesting moment getting to it.

Well, well, well.

I enjoyed climbing in these 2 last year in Germany at Sinsheim Teknik Museum. Fantastic :thumb2
