I nearly choked oan ma coffee

Me and the Fox wur speakin' tae the German wummin ahent the coonter in the distillery cafe and she mentioned that as weel as enjoyin' her "ane" whisky which she gets as a perk, she liked Islay malts. Me and Foxy agreed and wi'oot any promptin', the Cunning Foz announced that "I quite like a Jura tae"

The wummin has only ben here for 5 years so i didnae want to disillusion her opinion o' Scottish folk by gien her the Wigwambams story as an example o' how much he quite likes it...:blast

Edit: I found oot later that I'd ta'en the photie fae the wrang side. Andycam's wife had written that on his heid and pit a note in his pocket sayin'..."If Andy collapses at the bar, please phone this number and ask for an Ambulance".

the moose tash,to give it it's proper title, was fashionable when i was growing in the victorian era.
It is also handy for stashing food ,beer and little sachets of sauce.
Anyway it was a guid day maybe see you at the next run, cheers

Hellooooooo,

As I was away from the 'puta from Thursday evening, I kinda lost touch with the final game plan....

Soooo, I went to the Tea Room at Glen Lyon...

As you can see, the road was fine for cars and would've been for Bikes too..:thumb

IMGP0844.jpg

The Soup and Cake was up to the usual standard...:thumb2

Stopped off at Queen's View on the way back....Loch Tummel had a fair bit of Ice cover to it... :D

Unfortunately it was a bit cloudy in the distance so Shehalion and the hills of Glen Coe were hiding..;)

Catch up with you all at Blair Atholl in March...:thumb2

Sorry that we missed you, Mike. It looks pretty much like what we encountered at Moulin. The problem with Glen Lyon is that you cannae take the locals' word for the road conditions :D I phoned the tea room once before to be told that the roads were fine. Boatman was the only one who made it... and they wurnae :augie

See you next month :beerjug:
