Nice Day Oot!!

Great lunch & great company - felt a bit of a wimp when I arrived after my 40 mile trip to see Whatton there - all the way from Nottingham for a bar lunch:eek:

I was behind them for a while and didn't understand why they were turning off.....GPS must have had a brain-fart :nenau

:D

You clearly haven't ridden the back road to Stanley and Luncarty or you'd know why we turned off :thumb2

Just had a text from Kev. He's decided to keep on going instead of stopping off at Sir James' chateau.

A round trip of 750 miles in a oner for a bar luch with some radgie gadgies. Class. And totally insane :D

I haven't met Whatton yet and, despite his strange choice of colour for his 'stich and what appears to be inappropriate footwear in the car park (Hush Puppies?), I have to add my respect for undertaking such a long trip to meet up with some GSers.

If I were wearing a hat, I'd take it off to you, sir!

......... and if he were wearing a hat - it'd be a red fedora :blast

his exclamation of "Whit? - nae deep-fried Mars Bars on the menu?" did cause a moment's panic amongst the catering staff.

If anyone wants to invite me to a Scottish section do, I reckon I could set a mileage record (unless there's someone from Cornwall fancies a bet :augie).

Might have to wait for better weather, though...I am a southern softy, after all. :D

Thanks for the great company gents. A fine lunch :thumb2

Didn't stop in Sunderland as planned, instead I headed for home to Nottingham. Took a bit longer but she'll be happy as I can get my jobs done tomorrow
