Can anyone help me out?

I have a Savannah 2 :ymcasuit however the goretex liner in the pants has split from "a***hole to breakfast time" (thats in the groin area btw:D) and I need to replace it.

The Savannah 2 has been replaced by the Santiago however I haven't been able to find anything in the literature which indicates that the liners are compatible and I have rung 2 dealers neither of which knew.

Any tossers able to help out?:beerjug:

i can only say that the goretex liner from the savannah jacket fits the santiago jacket. not sure about the pants, but i think CW told me they were the same too.
sorry that's really vague :o

Thanks Cookie. That's more than I knew when I started so I guess it was a worthwhile thread!:D

BMW goretex liners usually come in either Type A or Type B

If I remember correctly, Type A have press-stud fastners to secure the liner to the outer garment (such as those used in the Atlantis suit) & Type B have zippers around the top of the pants.

I've got a Mk1 Savanah suit & the jacket liner was compatible with my Mk1 Rallye jacket. The pants aren't, though, as the Savanah has press-studs around the top of the pants & the Rally has a zipper.

I hope that's given you a bit more to go on...

Thanks for that Paul. IOM dealer has now got back to me. Apparently the Santiago liners will fit but the fastening loops at the bottom may not line up exactly.

What price a dry ar*e:bounce1
