I've not been backward at bitching about SBW in the past, but my recent experience was a massive improvement from before. They've got a new head boy in the Service department, who sorted out all my previous woes with the bike, and is a nice bloke as well.Bike was pretty clean on collection after a service, everything was done up properly, and the whole attitude seemed a lot more positive than before.
I doubt I'll buy another bike from there,(still miffed at the insulting trade-in price against a 1200GSA),but I'd have no hesitation in going there for service work. :thumb

SBW have always given me good service, and I'm very happy with their work.

I think it's also worth considering that while their service is great, and they seem like nice chaps, they also have Rachel (my main reason for going there) :D

I must be the unlucky one then, because,(I've said all this before,if you read that thread I apologise for being boring):When my bike broke down,(fuel pump failure),they couldn't pick it up from my home,(Mondial dumped it there because store was closed), within a reasonable time,so I had to get it there myself.Had no loan bike available, and repeatedly told me that they would only get around to fixing it when all the service work was done, and that BMW might not honour the warranty claim.Bike was 12 weeks old,1000 odd miles. Finally got it back over a week later.(I had to collect).
Several other warranty issues arose, which apparently didn't get reported to BMW,(although I was told otherwise by the then Service Manager).I don't call any of the above "good service".
And,sadly,I've never seen Rachel :(
All sorted now,as stated earlier.(thanks Ian).
