Scal Q2 query

If you wish to remove the Q2 from your helmet do the speakers detach and stay inthe helmet or are they permanently attached to the unit. Thanks in advance.

The Q2 consists of 2 parts- the box of tricks itself, which detaches simply, and the microphone/earpiece/clamp unit which can also be removed fairly simply; in my case undoing two clamp screws. The speakers are hard wired into this unit and as they're attached to the helmet interior with velcro, remove easily.

... they are permanently attached to the 'base' unit, do a search and you'll find a thread which talks about adapting them to use the 'in-ear' monitors which attach via a jack plug

Thanks for the replies lads, seems like a good system for the price and i would only want to use it for occassional use.
