Just bought three of these (not me personally, me and two mates...)

Set two up in helmets in the house with a mate but were surprised how quiet the volume was....

Are they noise reactive? So when we get the wind noise the volume adjusts to suit...

Hope so, otherwise we won't be going above 15mph!!!!!

Anyone had experience with these units?

Thanks

Volume is reactive to background noise. Check speaker positions too.

Just bought these and clear up to 75mph in closed face helments with earplugs in.

Hi,

we bought the cardo scala g4 powerset and used it on our tour through southern france, approx. 8-10hrs per day in rain, snow, wind and sunshine. up to 140km/h communication was absolutely no problem. and the 1-mile-range can't be beaten. even in large cities, around several corners - no problem at all. the built-in-radio is okay, but reception - at least in my area - is rather weak. but one can still connect a cable-mp3-player or connect an mp3 via bluetooth as long as it supports ad2p. volume automatically adapts to the outside-noise. works fine!

i had several other comms-solutions before but especially the headsets and/or the microphone-cables turned out to be the weak point.

my g4 is connected to a handy and a tomtom. works fine, but tomtom sounds a bit dull and the first syllable is cut off, but still okay.

greetz!
