After my Interphone F4S died I bought a pair of the new Scala Rider G9x units. It works well on my own - phone paired to GPS & GPS paired to G9x unit.
Not been out with the wife yet (her pillion or on both bikes) but we have tested the intercom function. She (slightly ludicrously) stood in the doorway with her lid on and we talked as I rode off to work.
Candidly we weren't impressed by the sound quality - or by the signal giving out after a few hundred yards with little in-between us.
I'm hoping that there's something we're not getting right in the setup (although they're supposed to Just Work) and not something wrong with the units.
Anyone else got one of the G9x duo units? How's the rider-to-pillion or bike-to-bike intercom? Clear? Easy? Immediate? Or do you have to press a button to get any connection & is the sound quality poor?
