i've got a scala teamset setup.
my unit worked fine last time out which was a month or so ago, came to charge it weekend and it wont, charge that is:( the wifes charged ok. but mine sat there doing feck all. i can press and hold the button then let go while it's on the charger and the light comes on red for a few secs then goes out again returning to it's previously dead condition:blast.

i reckon it's fcuked but someone might just know different, if so do tell :bounce1

MIne always works perfectly until i'm a thousand miles from home then packs in. Remove battery from the headset and clean the terminals. It worked for me but don't hold your breath. Good luck

I had two and gave up. Went for a Starcom. Technical support in the States is useless. "Can you please send to us and we will have a look" was the common answer.

cheers for that. will try the battery as you suggest.

yep, i've had quite a bit of bother with the Scala units two replaced under warranty, one of which failed after a 200 mile ride in heavy rain. they are water resistant not water proof.
i'm going another route this time. i dont want anything with wires trailing around so will have to look around at other bluetooth stuff.

hi tony, met you at the windmill the other week, anyway whot i always do is before i plug into the mains for charging make sure you put the wire in the battery first then plug into the mains socket then switch the socket on,i also noted that i had to really push the wire into the battery for it to charge.
