Isn't that what they call Dead Man's Hill?
We did the trail last year, it ended here:
I suppose that's the reservoir you're talking about.
It's a nice trail. A man with 2 GS's once told me you can do it in a Ford Mondeo

Done it in the landy but not on the bike. I combined this with grewelthorph (nr rippon) across the moors towards patley bridge then across to scar house.
