Scarla G4 Help

Hi, I have just bought my first intercom a G4 and trying to set it up, I have down loaded the latest upgrade and tried to talk to the Wife in the other room but with no luck, then charged both units for about 20 seconds, and switched them back on and got rider "A" connected on both headsets but nothing else, I must be doing something wrong. All help gratefully received.

They'll both need a couple of hours on initial charging - wait until the red light switches off on both when charging and then try them

Go a little further away and shout into the mic for testing purposes. I found that whispering didnt open up the VOX circuit

If you both get rider A connected, press the A button, this should active the channel (also check to make sure you have VOX enabled). If VOX is enabled then it should (but not always) initate the channel, sometime they have to be forced. If you are on the road for a while and not talking they go into standby and this brings them back if they do not respond to VOX.

I know what the manual says, but it doesn't always work that way.,
