Scart Cable - Fully Wired????

Nope, cos there's a crossover on a few pins.

Fully wired ones tend to be thicker than the cheap composite only type, but you cant really tell without opening up the plugs or buzzing it.

google threw up this as a diagram to use if you do want to buzz it.

you need the 2nd diagram mid page if you want to transmit RGB.

Open it up, or buy one from Argos, with gold plated pins and states fully wired and shrouded :thumb

don't fall for the gold plated bit... it's not that important.. the cable itself is more important

if you can get hold of one of the scarts that come with Sky boxes you'll find them pretty good.

some of the so called "good ones" have little or no screening between the cores....
hard to tell a good one from a bad one without plugging it in.

but i have seen some bad ones :D

having something priced at £15 or £20 does not guarantee it is good... but it likely isn't bad ( if you know what i mean)
