Scary moment today with Z666 ;- )

Driving North on the A34 near Oxford. Zumo on voice only, no MP3, listening to Radio 4 on car stereo

Suddenly, with no warning the car is filled with a very loud, high pitched wail

It's ear splitting, like a rape alarm (go on then, ask me how I know... )

Once we'd climbed down off the ceiling, I trace it to the 660.

No response to screen touch or off button.

Had to remove battery. Once replaced, unit reset and no further problems on trip back to Leicester.

What really scares me is: What if this happened while on the bike with earphones in???

It really was ear splitting.

Anyone else experienced this? More than once?
