What was the place that you stayed in Torry, UT and what were the rates? What were the rates like in Gateway, CO. I went through there last June but stayed in Grand Junction, CO.

Like Schtum said, the Rimrock is cheap but also kinda crappy. First time I stayed there. Usually stay acorss the street at the Best Western Capitol Reef; much nicer and basically the same price. Better internet service as well. Runs about $90 per room per night.

Gateway is nice but rooms run $150 to $900 a night. They often have deals on the mroe expensive rooms and it gets down to $600 a night for a suite. In the summer, an average room will run $290.

gateway is pricey, but worth it. The food there has sucked kinda bad in the past 2 years, but the new management promised to make it ebtter. We'll see.

If you'd like to meet up for a ride, let me know as I'm always looking for an excuse to ride and I know a couple of the better roads out there.
