I have a new C3 Pro helmet and have experienced lots of problems with the Autocom headset. I'm on my third headset in 6 months and keep getting problems with crackling and the failure of the mic. I had no problems with my old C3 helmet (4 years old with same headset) and have tried that again on the bike with no issues. I've replaced the rider connection lead from the Autocom and the connection las to the helmet and put a wind sock on the Mike to see if it was wind coming through the vent but the third headset has failed again.* Any ideas please?

I suggest that you talk to Sam Wray at Chainspeed to check that your problem is common (I suspect that it is). Ask him whether there is anything that can be done apart from another replacement.
Sam recently replaced a headset of mine. Apparently there have been a few recently with bad connections. New one has been fine so far.
