As the title - does anyone with a Schuberth C3 Pro helmet know if it will fit in the standard BMW expandable top case (expanded, obviously...)?

Also, I know there are a whole range of factors involved, but how well does the C3 Pro work with the Givi AF330 Airflow screen with regard to wind noise and the like?

It's getting towards time for helmet renewal, and £400 is a lot of mistake to make.

I have not used a Schuberth C3 but find the C2 needs a free airflow to avoid visor misting. In cold or wet weather, the Givi screen has to be on its lowest setting to avoid misting. I also have a BMW System 5 which is slightly larger than the C2 and less bad for misting.

I've found screen turbulence (Yamaha 900, GSA and Givi AF330) an issue with any helmet. My C2 is a "correct" fit and took me a long time to adapt to but is now all day comfortable. The System 5 is a little larger so can move (just a little) on my head. Turbulence moves the S5 rather than rattling my whole head so I wish the C2 was a touch bigger. When my C2 is due for replacement I will be trying for a slightly looser fit.

I will probably get flamed for suggesting people wear a "loose" helmet or for complaining about wind on a motorbike. I'm just saying the real world involves lateral turbulence from screens, rain misting, noise, blah, blah, blah. The "perfect" race track fit is not all it's cracked up to be (IMO).

C3 Pro is great.. Comes with Pinloc and is very mist resistant.

Fits in a GSA standard top-box, just... with nothing else much in there.

I had a C2 before and hated the coating, hated it without coating... Comfortable to wear though.
