I ride a 2008 GSA, and purchased a new Schuberth C3 crash helmet recently. Somewhat annoyingly, I discovered the visor will automagically shut at speeds of anywhere over 30mph (typically 30-40mph range).
The helpful people at Oxford Products have changed the visor mountings, and I could immediately notice the difference in the graduated steps when opening/closing said visor - it was much smoother/easier to move prior to th emountings being replaced.
However, unfortunately the visor still exhibits the same behaviour - which I've not personnally encountered over the years with other makes such as Shoei etc.
Now I appreciate that most of the time I will ride with the visor down, but I wouldn't expect a £400 product to function in this manner, and I should be able to choose if I want the visor open or closed regardless.
The next test will be to ride a different bike and see if the same thing happens, or try a different C3 on the same bike maybe....
Has anyone else purchased a Schuberth C3 and encountered similar automagic visor closure behaviour??
