I got mine from Infinity a few weeks ago and was initially frustrated by the flimsy peak which I found vibrated at any speed (when compared to my Tour-X 4) but after a bit of fiddling with both the helmet peak and the bike's screen all now is bliss :thumb2

A lovely bit of kit, well fitting and much quieter at speed than I imagined possible :clap

Has anyone had a C3 Pro and now an E1 ?

I was planning on changing my Shoei Neitec, which I find noisey and when it rains it leaks for a C3 Pro until I saw the E1, which I tried on but thought the sun shade a tad cheap feeling.

I'm having the same problem with the peak...fancy shedding some light on your fix?

It was worse with the peak in the lowest of the three positions so I adjusted it up one notch to the middle setting so the peak is out of my view :augie

can anyone tell me the weight of the E1 without the SRC comms ?

The sticker on the back of my medium E1 says 1695g +/- 50g. I've fitted a glue-on Sena 20s mount (without speakers) to mine, and the weight with attached that is 1800g.

I've got a C3 Pro and an E1. The fit is the same for both of them, but the E1 is (as you would expect) better vented. I've only used the E1 for a few hundred miles and although I agree the peak looks/feels a bit flimsy in practice it worked well once I'd worked out which position (the middle one) and screen position worked best.

The listed weight of the C3 Pro is 1.57 kgs, so the E1 is heavier

I have bitten the bullet and have ordered an XL E1 in Guardian Red with the SRC. If you buy them together there is no VAT on the SRC as its part of the helmet. Pick it up tomorrow or Monday
