Time&tides & I left digs at 8:20 in pissing rain rode to little chef 1.2 miles away got off the bike and it stopped.
Met the rest of the guys. Off we rode through some beautiful country side.

11:30am we had our first fuel stop. Three of the group are missing. Redrick goes back to see if they are lost. Rick comes back after about 10 mins no sign. We continue on our planned route. All class riders so they should be fine. But u still worry.
30 mins later they pass us at a junction all cheese grins.
Turns out they diverted over Tan Hill shortly after we split up. All good.

This is my scone and I score it 7.5/10
Has cream, butter & jam scone it's self tastes ok but would have been tastier last week when it was made !!!!

The gods kept pissing on us yesterday, there'd be glorious sunshine then torrential rain. Everyone was still in high spirits.

Food was nice, well worth £25 per man including a pint each.


Day 2. Temp is morning around 9c no rain.

Hotel is clean and does the job. Breakfast at 8am on the road about 9, first scone stop 9:20
