The 2012 Scooters in the Sahara trip is finally just about ready to roll, and it's gonna be a good 'un.:beerjug:
After months of planning, starting at Horizons autumn meet at Cheddar in early September, we have a finely honed team ready to tackle anything :aidan
13 participants makes it by far the biggest ( & Best ????) so far. 12 bikes plus a Mitsi Shogun with ex-WD 3/4 ton trailer should do the trick.

We will be leaving the Chichester Emsworth Travel lodge at 8am on Sunday 4th March and if anybody fancies poping down to join the run down to Portsmouth ferry terminal we would be very pleased to see you...Collection tins will be rattled !!!!

BTW have a look at the brand new scoots web site which I'm trying desperately to keep it up to date with some great assistance from other team members, with pics and info being added almost daily.

Just in case you've forgotten.

Thanks to all who continue to support this mad, mad, adventure. But the Scoots continue to do amazing work out at the hospital and regularly help to save lives.:bow:bow:bow

Good luck ...

... your crates and cauldrons were collected this morning and the kettle should be en-route :thumb

Thanks to all for the good wishes. Kettle has arrived Paul, many thanks, BTW we have a Ceilidh with Music and dancing to ‘Spinach for Norman’ down your way at:
Tedburn St Mary Village Hall, EX6 6EZ. on
Saturday February 25th 7:30 – midnight
Bring and share snacks and finger food.
Cash Bar
Entry £3 (on the door)
All profits from the evening which will include a raffle and collection will be given to the Bansang Hospital Appeal (charity number 1064469).

Would love to see you both there and of course anyone else who fancies popping in. I'll be there with Steve, Iain, Debz and hopefully Allie.:beerjug:

I'm tempted ...

... to bring a big pan and do some authentic RWL, what do you think 'cos it's hardly finger food ?

I think that's a bonzer idea Paul. The only problem is that our culinary team will then have a bench mark to work to ! Go on Do it ! you know you want to !:hide

Must remember to bring my bowl and spoon !!!

Couldn't agree more Gecko, women bring a whole different (and better!) Dynamic to the trip.

BTW, Any of you wishing to donate to this most worthy of causes can now do so directly from our web site:
www.scootersinthesahara.co.uk
which has a link on every page to a Virgin Giving page, with all donations going directly to the Bansang Hospital Appeal.:thumb:thumb:thumb
