Due to the fact that I had a problem with my Remus Y piece and cos they didnt seem interested I decided to fit the one that Scorpion do, along with the Scorpion end can. Had a bit of a mixeup and first of all got the wrong end can. This led to me fitting the correct end can without the rubber bushed mounting.
Guess what, this caused my rear indicator to start to melt due to the hot exhaust gasses and wrong alignment.
How would this state of affairs be addressed when I went for a ride over to Scorpion to show them my problem?
I parked my bike outside their research and develpment area and went to see Steve the Engineering manager. When we returned to my bike one of their research team had a look and pointed out the problem. A bushed mounting was obtained and to my surprise Steve rolled his sleeves up got some tools and refitted the end can himself!
What would happen with my melted indicator was my next thought.
On returning to Steves office I asked him "what about my indicator?" He dissapeared for a while and it turns out that Brian the factory Manager had telephoned my local BMW dealer and ordered a new indicator for me already! I was so pleased I said that I was happy to collect the new indicator and fit it myself.
True to his word a new indicator was waiting for me at the BMW parts desk with my name on it and paid for by Scorpion.
IMO these guys are sound and a pleasure to deal with.
Any body else had experience of Scorpion?
