Scotland in Early September

The Mrs and I have been invited to a wedding up in Dumfries end August. So having travelled all that way (up from the Midlands) we were thinking of taking a week off work and making a holiday of it.

So we have no real plans of where to go, what to see, where to stay. So over to you guys and girls, suggestions welcomed.

We'll unfortunately be on 4 wheels not 2.
