Had this Question up in the Newbie section, had some replies, looking for anything else regarding the trip, routes seem to be good all over, will be staying B&B still a bit chilly for the highlands Biker friendly places please. :nenau

Planning a trip to Scotland on 14 April. Stranraer get off The Ferry and hang a left. Looking for good routes up west coast heading for John O’ Groats. Looping back for Monday evening 18 April. Or extending it through the Lake District to Hollyhead or even further to Fishguard for Thursday 21 April.
All suggestions gratefully appreciated.:beer:

Jim. I am there a week after you. I will be camping though. West coast. Glencoe,Fort Augustus, Loch ness, Skye, Ullapool & back down to Galloway before heading to Snowdonia for a night & home to Smoggy London.

Me and one other are heading on a similar route departing 22nd April, are you going in a group or with partner etc? where camping (mostly wild) no firm plan yet other than west coast and islands come back by mayday bank holiday or sooner depending on weather/company mental heath :drool
