Earlier on BBC1. Fantastic old footage and interviews from (now) elderly inhabitants of the north west coast and islands.

I laughed at one old guy telling of the wonderment of electricy arriving in his village. He said that the priest was summoned from Fort Augustus to come and bless their electric kettle
