Scotland weekend feb 2008 ?

Just to get the ball rolling who would like to go up there in Winter so we can see the snow caped mountains, looking at the Dunfries & Galloway area and the ride up TROON and down the coast to take in the views of isles of Arran & Alisa Craig then onto some minor roads !!

but only if the weather is looking good, ie go a short notice , i was thinking about Febuary time ...would the be any interest in such a weekend..

Would be interested but its also my birthday in Feb and it looks like we will be celebrating it in the big casino in the desert. Last weekend in Feb.

where we are thinking of GOING , i've been before in March 2003... great weather then....going to be pot luck we should be able to book on short notice in FEB....after all who else is silly enough to go then......so the weeks befor i'll be keeping a close watch on the weather

I'm a possible on this one - assuming we're still speaking to you after the off road run

The weather would need to be reasonable though else we won't see no snow through the fog

I'd even camp if others are daft enough too.

My only preference would be to stretch it out as long as possible - short days and all.

Feb sounds good to me, but need plenty of notice for a def weekend. Are you sticking to the Sat early start back on the Mon???????Need to sort out work .

I'm up for coming along and can make any weekend day permitation, I will have to tag an extra day on as I'll be coming from the South east (I'm assuming you guys won't mind a southern shandy coming along)
I will need a some notice in order to shuffle work etc.
