Thanks JB :thumb2
I didn't see your name down on the riders list
These events always seem to be on when I'm on call  but reckon I'll go anyway :thumb
Only trouble is, I've read the spectator guide and still haven't a clue where to go (van or bike :nenau ) & Google is useless at finding these little locations :blast
Give us a clue :bow

Is that bloke in the yellow hat an uncle? There appears to be a vague resemblence... :augie

Aim for Reeth, sections are less than 5 miles in any direction from there, use the spectator guide in conjunction with the map, sections are numbered on the prose and the map

Basically it's a 360 degree rotation of the village

It`s just my cautious opinion, but if you are on call, getting about in a car/van can be a nightmare as the single track roads were never intended for the amount of spectator traffic.

Thank You for the advice - only need a phone signal (although that area does have dead zones).
Just need somewhere easy to park a bike & walk a few yards :)

All free bollocks, the idea is you buy a programme for all the good causes, go for a pint to the CB, have something to eat at the same time, enjoy the day. and if the weather and daylight permits do some green lanes on the way home.

Did all that last year:D

Yep, as you say officials do ask for donations for the charities that Richmond MCC support, like Air Ambulance and Fell Rescue

We had lunch at Dales Bike Barn

See you up there Chris:thumb2

A few pics, once the weather had brightened up and the sun came out

Tough Trial today, noticeably more so than last year

Whaw Bridge

Reels Head, with the whole Swaledale as a backdrop, very tough this year as the rocks were slippy

Emma Bristow - Ladies Champion

Last man - veteran Phil Alderson sporting no. 200
