I was up there yesterday, riding between Reeth and Tan hill when i came across a road crossing section. I stopped and watched them cross over while talking to one of the crossing marshels who was only too pleased to tell me the history of the event.

Much better weather this year. Were you very early to only come across three or four Transit vans. We were just outside Reeth and the traffic jams caused by irresponsible parking were horrendous. We moved on to a couple of sections near CBs, same park it anywhere attitude causing road chaos.
I watched 20 mins or so and it was time to hit the road to Tan hill and beyond.
I was mightily impressed by the speed these trial bikes managed across country, I did 15 years enduro riding and their pace was way above mine.
