Scottish Bike Show - Edinburgh

No - the show has been crap for the past few years and I am boycotting it. £15 entry to walk around what is a glorified car boot sale of bike kit that I don't need or want. Even fewer exhibitors (no KTM or Suzuki) there this year. Going to ride my bike instead.

just arrived home from it,got to agree it was pretty crap.car boot sale is a good description.
only thing worthwhile was meeting and blethering to nick sanders.now he'smad

:rob

I was supposed to be going but the missus is bad with migraine, this thread makes me feel better, although I have already shelled out for the ticket.

Fwiw ,we went there today , agree with previous comments , not as good as previous years , my kids enjoyed the wall of death and the motocross demos , and they had their photo taken with Si Pavey so they were happy.

Didn't see Nick Sanders this time but got caught by Sam Manicom eyeing up his books - seems sane by comparison though.:D

I'd gone specifically to try and buy an Airhawk in a hurry and get fitted for custom earplugs, so my visit was worthwhile...:thumb2

I went up on the Saturday.

What a load of crap. I have been going for the last four years and this one was certainly the worst. I honestly don't think I'll be going again.

I guess the recession has well and truly kicked in!

no KTM but Suzuki had two stands.

i had free tickets and still wouldn't go, it's been goin downhill for years. they should maybe try doin it every other year. a lot of the stuff on sale is pretty crap too :(

as expected pretty poor
good job we had cheap tickets and there was enuff of us for a laugh

freestyle motox lad came a cropper misjudged his speed and landed on the engine casing
looked painful least his bike didnt fall 12ft aswell and land on top of him

It's a shitty show in a shitty venue.

Why the fcuk don't they have it in the warm, dry,mud free, easy to get to NEC in Glasgow?
