I'll be towing a horse along the M90 tomorrow morning (heading for Glenrothes).

No doubt there'll be loads of spectator bikes on the road :thumb2

(Voices from the back . .. "Never ming the bikes - keep your eyes on the road" :rob).

Bob.

I'll be taking a mobility scooter to Ullapool tomorrow, for the second time in under a week, probably being passed by loads of bikes along the way...:tears

No voice from the back, though. Just an infuriatingly cheery and condescending woman on the CD player trying to teach me French.

And failing.

..........:comfort ....what will the voices in your head be saying....:D

Jeez that's going to be a long run! Those sccots can only be good for 4mph at best!! Mind you the seats look pretty comfy :augie

Not normally, a Class 3 vehicle (ie, one of these) can do up to 8mph legally, and the ones I'm dealling with mostly do that.

But 4mph applies in this case, it's a "low ratio" one to cope with the "side of a mountain" type terrain that this guy lives on, and it comes with Chin Shen TKC copies on the back wheels.

Most owners do take them offroad though, so the GS comparison falls down there...:augie

so I went to Knockhill today, cracking weather for the morning, cold and overcast for the afternoon, some cracking racing, a few gentle crashes and a little bit of shoulder charging.....remember rubbing is racing....:D

The 1000cc field was a little depleted, recession starting to bite....:( .....the 600 and 400 classes were outstanding to be honest, here's a few photos.....:thumb

There was a pretty big crowd though, certainly more people there than what you would find at a Scottish First Division game.....:augie
