Just wondered, if anyone chose to go to Ingiliston ? Haven't ventured myself for the last 4 years. Small chance I may decide to give it a go once again ! Any reports appreciated.

Going this year again, it's been smaller and smaller the last few years but they have the stunt bike show this year and promise of more vendors

I popped along today, first time in about 4 years, and it was ok. Its a very small show now, but a few nice new bikes to see.
The Classic bike Hall is bigger than the New bike Show Hall and well worth a trip down memory lane.

Tossed a coin go there or Rufforth, Rufforth won due to the £2 entry fee

That said there were a good few BMW bikes at Rufforth including a very interesting R1200gsa tc outfit with lots of bells and whistles fitted

I was helping man the BMW Club stand today. The club area has a good number of bikes & some really well presented stands. Quite busy & hopefully there will be even more folk tomorrow.
Pleased to see any UKGSers calling by.

The last one I went to there.

Will be the last one I go to there.

I like bike shows but Ingliston is just such a worn out, depressing dump to hold a show.

I'll be giving it a miss once again. Thanks for all the responses.

I went to the show yesterday and although I agree it is getting a bit frayed around the edges and actually not much 'new' bikes being presented.

But it is handy if your looking for some kit and it is not too expensive for a few hours and there were thousands piling in by lunchtime.

I worked there yesterday and the show was okay but I wouldn't pay £16 + £5 to park my car to get in! but it was heaving in the main hall around mid morning so its still fairly popular.

mm yes we drove up sunday, five quid to park the car then sixteen quid to get in ,bit a let down .
i was there about eight years ago,and it was one hell of a good show then.
i dont think i will be there next year.well not unless its free parking and a fiver to get in.

Thought the show was really good this year compared to previous years ,, good stand turnouts from truimph , Ducati , Honda etc , cracking deals to be had on new lids , riding gear and the likes , let's face it were never going to get the turnouts from manufacturers that the main show South of the border has . Fair enough the parking was a rip off at a 5 spot but for £16 admission fee was not to bad to meet up with old pals and pass a good few hours and talk about the season ahead , roll on next year

Tickets booked in advance were only £12 and you could book right up until 9pm on the Friday. Parking was free! As long as you went by bike!
My bike needs a wee bit of a clean now though, thanks to all the mud on the way to the car park.

Was worth going just to see the lovely ladies on the Maaxis tyres stand ...

I rode down from Cromarty approx 175 miles each way.
Me and a mate set off at 06.00 and boy was it cold, -2 over the Slocht and averaged 1 or 2 deg down to Pitlochry, we had rain, snow and hail showers. So glad I had my heated seat and grips, though the heated seat is far too hot.

I went specifically to see the Scott Leathers of Barnard Castle stand as I want some new leather troos and could get them made to measure from Scott. I ordered some nice Venom trousers at £250 which I understand the police use.

I thought the Classic area was the best, some lovely bikes on show and a couple of really nice custom BMW's. It was quite busy on Sunday, we left by 2pm as we needed to get back home before the temp dropped too far. The A9 is a real pita now and has added about an hour to the trip. Bike parking is still free.

I rocked up on the Sunday by bike, surprised there wasn't a dedicated bike only area. Locked bike up, queued up, got to booth, not taking cards in that one "try another". Couldn't be arsed to queue up again with the chance of another not taking cards because apparently they should of all been taking cards so unlocked bike and went home.

Did go to the NEC last year so had my show fix, last few times I've been to Ingilston it seems a pretty run down affair. Mainly as someone pointed out, the Venue is a bit tired.
