Scottoiler dual head

Dont know if anyone on the forum has fitted one of these to the 990 Adventure, here's my attempt, hope it works well.

I noticed that the chain was well lubed on the outside but the inner face was corroded, thought I would try the dual injector.

Injector head fitted to lower rear chainguard mount, I made a custom mount to bolt it in place. I had to modify the guard slightly to fit it back in place. The oil supply is via copper brake pipe pinned against the lower part of the swinging arm by the forward chain guard.

BTW why have you not drilled the small hole in swing arm just infront of the weld, you will be amazed how much water is in there. I was gobsmacked, and the beast is only 8 months old
While your in that area, copper grease the chain adjster bolts

I havn't drilled the hole although I have read about it I will probably get round to it. The adjusters have been heavily coppasliped.
The big problem at the moment is keeping the salty road shit off the bike. Heavy coat of ACF50 applied, hope it works.

Neat job, mine's a single sided Scottoiler and l was thinking of changing to the dual feed. Was there no support bracket with the kit?

There is a mounting kit that comes with the oiler however this fit was far less complex and seemed more logical. I couldnt see the point in installing the hanger and adjustment shims when this simple little bracket fitted the bill.
