Today was not a good day for my windscreen...I scratched it using an improper sponge during bug removal session:(
Can someone suggest a method of polishing or covering the scratches ? Anything else more than replacement would do :P

We have a product in the Uk called 'Brasso' which is specially for cleaning brass metal objects. It is very very slightly abrasive and if the scratch isn't too deep this stuff may lift it out for you. I have used it on plastic and it works alright as long as it is only a light scratch . I don't know it you can buy it in Greece otherwise maybe ask nicely and someone can send you some .
There is some other stuff called "T-cut" but it is more abrasive and I would only be inclined to try this if you were prepared to make a last ditch attempt and have written off the screen in your mind anyway - it may be too abrasive depedning on the type of plastic.

if its not bad enough for brasso.........try toothpaste!!! seriously!

It's a GS ffs. It's SUPPOSED to be scratched.

Wouldn't want everyone to think its a Chelsea Tractor bike would you?

Get some 280 wet and dry over it :D

toothpaste is the answer

I had a good size scratch on my windshield, so I used some Crest toothpaste with a micro fiber cloth and it buffed the scratches right out.. there is plastic specific scratch remover as well. Never used brasso, but it sounds like it would work too, but since everyone has toothpaste at home, try that first.

Tried Brasso and did cover only the small scratches. There are some major ones that are still visible.I"ll try and get some help from a friend who's installing tinted car windshields. He said he has a pro brush and some special polish to apply...

for deep scratches, you might have to use a special compound and an electric circular buffer..
